Wesley W. Posvar Hall is a building located on the campus of the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States. It is named after Wesley W. Posvar, the chancellor of the university from 1967 to 1991. The building houses the university's School of Social Work, its Department of Economics, and the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs. The building was designed by the architectural firm Hellmuth, Obata and Kassabaum, and was completed in 1988. It is the largest academic building on the campus, and is known for its distinctive red brick exterior and its open interior spaces.
